Elephant Garlic Festivalby ~frostedflames

This was a collaborative work between myself and my girlfriend. She drew the elephant and the garlic. I did the rest of the design work.

This was our submission for a poster contest for the event. The theme was "a vote for Stinkee is a vote for fun." Stinkee is the festival's mascot.

I really like the old-fashioned American election feel. The design is very pleasing to the eye and isn't at all difficult to read. The choice of font is also good. I think the elephant might benefit from more shading/being a darker shade of grey. But otherwise it looks great

Not yet... submissions were due on the 15th. I'm hoping I hear back soon though. The prize was $500 so it would be really awesome if I won.
